On the morning of September 10, Guizhou Power Grid Corporation went to Southwest Jiaotong University for exchange and investigation. The delegation led by Mr. Peng Yuxiang, Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Power Grid Corporation, including Mr. Ouyang Guangze, General Manager of the Innovation and Architecture Department; Mr. Tan Zhukui, Member of the Expert Committee; Mr. Zhou Lin, Deputy General Manager of the Electric Power Research Institute; Mr. He Xin, Specialist of the Strategic Planning Department; Mr. Wang Mian, General Manager of the R&D Service Department of the Electric Power Research Institute; Mr. Chen Dunhui, Supervisor of the System Center of the Electric Power Research Institute; Mr. Li Xiaobin, Specialist of the System Center of the Electric Power Research Institute, participated in the investigation.

Zhou Lijun and prof. Li Yong from the School of Electrical Engineering, attended the symposium.
At the meeting, Mr. Peng Yuxiang, Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Power Grid Corporation, briefly introduced the overall situation of the company. He stated that Guizhou Power Grid is accelerating the construction of a new-type power system, and the integration of a high proportion of new energy has put forward new requirements for the safe and stable operation of the power grid. He expressed the hope to leverage the disciplinary strengths of Southwest Jiaotong University to build a university-enterprise collaborative innovation platform and jointly solve key technical challenges in the industry.
Vice Dean Liao Kai of the School of Electrical Engineering and Vice Dean Gan Mi of the School of Transportation and Logistics respectively introduced the basic situation of their schools, focusing on the disciplinary construction and research accumulation in the field of transport-energy integration. They demonstrated the research foundation and cooperation achievements in promoting the integrated development of energy and transportation relying on disciplinary strengths, and expressed the willingness to deepen cooperation with Guizhou Power Grid Corporation for mutual development. The two sides jointly visited the History Museum of the School of Electrical Engineering to learn about the development history and innovative achievements of the electrical discipline.
In the exchange and discussion session, the two sides had in-depth exchanges around topics including the application for the national key special project of transport-energy integration, research directions and project layout, hydropower solutions for railway signal communication under the weak power grid with high proportion of new energy, and scientific research cooperation of the Meihuashhan anti-icing base. They shared the research achievements of Southwest Jiaotong University in the power grid field, and reached a consensus on deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
