The School of Electrical Engineering successfully held the "2025 Online Academic Summer Camp for Outstanding University Students" on July 4, 2025. The event targeted elite undergraduates nationwide, aiming to establish a high-level academic exchange platform that showcases the school's disciplinary strengths and distinctive training features, while attracting talented students committed to research in electrical engineering and control science.
The online summer camp featured Vice Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Professor Liu Zhi-gang, and Professor Huang De-qing, representative of the Control Science and Engineering discipline, as keynote speakers. Prof. Liu first extended a warm welcome to all participants on behalf of the school. He delivered a comprehensive overview of School of Electrical Engineering and particularly emphasized graduate employment quality and career trajectories, detailing how alumni contribute to key national industries—providing attendees with a clear vision of future professional development.
Subsequently, Prof. Huang focused on the Control Science and Engineering discipline, offering a concise yet insightful analysis of the discipline’s historical evolution,cutting-edge research directions,specialized scientific platforms,high-caliber research teams and research accomplishments.
Prof. Huang’s accessible presentation highlighted the discipline’s pivotal role within the school’s academic ecosystem and its research capacity in addressing major national needs.
