On June 20th, the School of Electrical Engineering held its grand commencement and degree conferring ceremony for the Class of 2025 at Xipu Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University.

Dean Ma Guangtong reviewed the students' growth and endeavors during their university years, affirming their choices to contribute youthful energy across diverse fields. Confronted with technological transformations and developmental opportunities of the new era, Dean Ma articulated three earnest expectations: To cultivate an inclusive mindset, broadening their vision to "take a long-term perspective on all matters". To pioneer innovation fearlessly, breaking through boundaries to "advance with the times through daily renewal". To embrace collective purpose, refining the life philosophy of "maintaining moral integrity amidst worldly temptations".

Undergraduate representative Feng Hongyun delivered a speech. Recalling his academic journey at the School, he expressed special gratitude for the dedicated mentorship of faculty members and the collaborative efforts of classmates.

Alumnus Luo Li recounted his career journey from a grassroots technician to Deputy General Manager of China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group 5th Company, emphasizing the importance of professional dedication and mission-driven responsibility. He offered three recommendations to graduates: ‌

Later， the Appointment Ceremony for Class of 2025 Alumni Council Members Was Held. Dean Ma and Party Secretary Wang Bin presented letters of appointment to the alumni council members, urging them to serve as a bridge between the alma mater and its alumni, and among alumni themselves.
