On March 20th, Mr. Ma Guangtong, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, led a team to visit Zhuzhou Converter Technology National Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd. to promote enterprise visits, job expansion, and school-enterprise cooperation, and held an exchange symposium. Mr. Hu Jiaxi, General Manager of Zhuzhou Converter Technology National Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Min, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Qian Lie, Chairman of Chengdu Southwest Jiaotong University Jia Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., and several alumni from the School of Electrical Engineering in Zhuzhou participated in the exchange meeting.

At the symposium, Zhuzhou Converter Technology National Engineering Research Center briefly introduced the company's development, business layout, and innovative development direction in recent years, and outlined the current urgent scientific research needs. Dean Ma, on behalf of the school, expressed gratitude to Zhuzhou Converter Technology National Engineering Research Center  for its long-term support in scientific and technological innovation, platform construction, talent cultivation, and graduate employment. He also put forward suggestions for further strengthening in-depth cooperation between the two parties. The School of Electrical Engineering will continue to work with the company to serve national strategic needs and achieve win-win development. The participants of the school conducted in-depth discussions around the scientific research needs proposed by the company. The alumni attending the meeting reviewed their learning and living experiences during their school years, expressed their blessings for the 130th anniversary of the school, and also put forward suggestions for the future development of the college.

Before the meeting, the delegation from the School of Electrical Engineering visited the showroom of the Innovation Center, the Manufacturing Center, and the Semiconductor Exhibition Hall of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute to learn about the latest developments.
