School Achieves Milestone: First Special Award Win

The final competition of the 2025 China Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge Cup (New Energy Track) closed with great success in Changping, Beijing on October 14. Under the guidance of SWJTU Communist Youth League committee, the project "Magnetic Flux Chain—A Wireless Deicing Device for High-Voltage Insulators Integrated with Magnetic Resonant Coils", advised by Prof. Li Yong from the School of Electrical Engineering, stood out among numerous national competitors and won the Top Prize in the student track on behalf of SWJTU. This achievement represents the school's inaugural victory in Challenge Cup. With cutting-edge scientific innovation, the project embodies the event theme: "Shouldering the Youth's responsibility for advancing Chinese-style modernization."



The 'New Energy Field' Main Arena competition serves as one of the core tracks of the 19th 'Challenge Cup' National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition." It attracted outstanding teams from over 100 universities and research institutions across China, combining high academic rigor with industry-wide recognition.
