On August 8, 2019, Gao Fei, professor of UTBM, visited our school and delivered  an academic lecture entitled " New Era of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles ", which was presided over by Professor Li Qi; Professor Chen Wei-rong, dean of School of Electrical Engineering, professor Zou Jian-xiao, deputy dean of School of Automation, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and students also attended the lecture.

     In the lecture, Professor Gao first introduced the key components and core technologies of vehicle fuel cell system by taking Toyota Mirai fuel cell vehicle as an example. Then he analyzed the technical bottlenecks and future development trends of fuel cell commercialization from three aspects: cost, durability and hydrogen source. Finally, Professor Gao was appointed as Visiting Professor of Southwest Jiaotong University.

            After the lecture, Professor Gao visited the New Energy laboratory of Rail Transit. He put forward some valuable suggestions and warmly invited our teachers and students to visit and exchange at UTBM.
