Four Undergraduates Received Honor Degree in UK

In July 2020, four undergraduates,LuanXueYun, Wu Jiaqi, Liang Jiahui from the School ofElectrical Engineering, and Li Zhiyan from School of Information Science and Technology successfully completed SWJTU-UoB 2 + 2 Joint Training Program and got UK honor degrees that awarded excellent UK college graduates. Amazingly, GPA of Wu Jiaqi ranked No.1 in the Discipline of Electrical and Electronics of UoB.


It is reported that our university has established a cooperative relationship with the University of Birmingham for "2+2" joint training program since 2018. In October 2019, The delegation, composed of Prof. Xiao-yun Feng, vice president of SWJTU, Prof.Wei-rong Chen, dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Lei Ma, deputy dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Prof. De-qing Huang and Prof. Min-wu Chen,was invited to visit UoB and signed the Memorandum of Understanding. The School will continuously deepen the international education, enhance the international cooperation and improve the quality of personnel training.
