Conference Of The Second NEEC Technical Committee Was Held

On December 25, 2020, the fifth conference of the second Technical Committee of National Rail Transit Electrification and Automation Engineering Technology Research Center (NEEC) was successfully held online.

The conference was presided over by academician Qian Qingquan, deputy Director of NEEC. academician Ding Rongjun, chief expert of CRRC, Prof. Wang Ping, president of Science and Technology Development Institute of Southwest Jiaotong University, Prof. Gao Shi-bin, director of NEEC, Prof. Chen Wei-rong, dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Luo Qian-chao, Party Secretary of the School of Electrical Engineering, Prof. He Xiao-qiong, deputy dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and other Technical Committee members attended the conference.

Prof. Wang, on behalf of SWJTU, sincerely extended the warmest welcome to all the leaders and experts attending the meeting, and expressed the most sincere gratitude to all the leaders and experts for their long-term cares and supports to the university. Prof. Gao Shi-bin, reported the development of NEEC in the fields of scientific research projects, intellectual property rights, science and technology awards, major project progress, platform construction, international cooperation, talent training.

Jiang Xian-guo, deputy chief engineer of China Railway Design Group and National survey and design master, Xu Jian-guo, deputy chief engineer of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group, Prof. Guo Kai and Prof. Hu Hai-tao delivered academic reports respectively.


After the academic reports, the committee members actively put forward many valuable suggestions for the technology development and future technology guidance of NEEC.

At last, Academician Qian Qing-quan made the summary speech. Academician Qian stated that NEEC should seize the opportunity to build National Center for Technology Innovation and strive to lead the development of electrification and automation technology of rail transit at home and abroad.
